Barn Gallery (owned and administered by the Ogunquit Arts Collaborative) is the home of the Ogunquit Art Association — Maine’s original artists’ group (est. 1928). Truly, no trip to Ogunquit is complete without a visit to Barn Gallery.
‘Since the late 1800’s, Ogunquit has attracted an eclectic variety of artists, all of whom helped create a richly textured art colony and a place to live and paint.‘ This tradition continues today at Barn Gallery where juried members of the Ogunquit Art Association (Maine’s original artists’ group) host their vibrant exhibitions, inspiring gallery talks, lively panel discussions, illuminating demonstrations, and enlightening workshops.
In advance of the 2019 season at Barn Gallery, Barometer Media / Ogunquit Barometer has designed and launched a brand new website for this cherished Ogunquit landmark which will allow the Ogunquit Arts Collaborative / Ogunquit Art Association to more fully share the stories of their juried artists, cultural events, and colorful history.
