The Ogunquit Chamber is excited to announce its crazy mask contest, running now through July 31.
We challenge you to show off your creative talents by showing us your craziest, silliest, and funniest mask. You could win a $25 gift card, valid at a local Ogunquit business.
“A group of creative innkeepers came up with the idea, and then our Chamber team just worked on that concept to come up with the details. We thought it would be a fun way to remind people about the importance of being kind and respectful to others by wearing masks,” explained Alice Pearce, executive director of the Chamber. “We are really looking forward to seeing what our visitors, residents and businesses send us. Hopefully, we’ll have an entertaining gallery on our website by the time the voting starts in August.”

Here’s how the Ogunquit Crazy Face-Mask Contest works:
- There are four categories: individuals, groups or families, kids (ages 5-12) and local Chamber businesses.
- Take a photo of you wearing your craziest mask creation. Photo MUST be taken in Ogunquit. Take it at your favorite Ogunquit spot or business.
- Then, email your photo by July 31 to admin@oqunquit.org with the words “mask contest” in the subject line.
- All approved photos will be posted on the Chamber’s website at ogunquit.org/ogunquit-mask-contest/.
- Voting will be open to the public from August 1-5, with the winners announced on August 6.
- Help spread the word and generate votes for your photo by sharing it on social media and using the hashtags #visitogunquit, #ogunquitwelcomesyou and/or #ogunquitmaskcontest.
