Join us in extending a HUGE ‘Thank You’ to the Ogunquit Parks and Recreation Committee (PLUS a few enthusiastic volunteers, including several from the Hartwell House Inn – Ogunquit, Maine) for working tirelessly to bring this performance by The Classic Drifters to Leavitt Theatre for Ogunquit visitors (and residents) on Labor Day Weekend 2019!
It was a nostalgic evening saluting one of the world’s most beloved musical groups, The Drifters. The Classic Drifters had the Ogunquit crowd on their feet and singing as they authentically recreates the original sound of legendary hits like “Save the Last Dance For Me,” and “Up on the Roof,” plus the timeless “Under the Boardwalk.”
Several members of this group have performed around the world with the late Bill Pinkney, an original member of The Drifters.
ATTENTION: Rumor has it that plans are now being put in place to bring something AMAZING to Ogunquit next summer for our 40th Anniversary of becoming a town! Stay tuned to Ogunquit Barometer for details…
