The 5th Annual ‘Woodies in the Cove‘ Car Show and Parade was Saturday, August 20 this year at 8:30 a.m. at 974 Post Road (on Route 1 in Wells) – and ended with a parade at 2:00 p.m. through Wells and Ogunquit, Maine, finishing up at Perkins Cove!

This annual event is free, fun and a great fundraiser for the Historical Society of Wells and Ogunquit!

This show brings together Woodies from the model A’s of the 20’s to the tin Woodies of the 50’s – some additional unique and high end cars also attend (by invitation only). Interest in these unique vehicles has made this show one of the largest attended and most popular car shows in all of New England.

The Ogunquit Barometer would like to extend a huge ‘Thank You’ to Sonny Perkins (and the rest of his team) for the effort that was put in to making this event the success that it is!
