Art aficionados from across the New England region, and beyond, descended on the Barn Gallery in Ogunquit for their ever-popular 68th OAA Art Auction on Saturday, August 3rd, 2019 — all seeking to purchase art created by juried members of the prestigious Ogunquit Art Association (OAA), Maine’s original artists’ group (est. 1928)!
This event is widely known as the Biggest Annual Art Auction in Ogunquit, Maine and one of the MAJOR cultural events of the summer.
Auctioneer Hap Moore was at the helm this summer night as Barn Gallery filled with the crowd of avid art collectors ready to bid on a very wide variety of paintings, graphics, photographs, and sculpture by members of the Ogunquit Art Association!
The annual OAA Auction is also filled with synergy and cross pollination between the arts community and local merchants!
Everyone who purchased a bid card at the auction also received a ticket good for a chance at many exciting raffles for prizes provided by local businesses throughout the evening!
