Named after the Batson River in nearby Cape Porpoise, this buzz-worthy brewery and distillery is drawing crowds — even in the off-season!
The doors at Batson River Brewing and Distilling opened in November 2018 – and you’ll enjoy their rotating selection of craft beers (in multiple styles) PLUS cocktails comprised of their handcrafted spirits, which all have flavor signatures tied to ‘hops and botanicals grown on a centuries-old farm on Maine’s southern coast, where the Batson River winds by the farm to marshlands to the shores of Goose Rocks Beach.

The building itself has been transformed from its prior bright white color scheme – and is now dominated by atmospheric dark wood hues with hunting lodge accents. The lively downstairs bar – and dining room – have high-top seating. And the upstairs now has some serious casual/cozy hangout vibes
The covered front porch (with vinyl weather-protection windows) is perfect for those chilly shoulder-season days – and we are looking forward to seeing the second story deck open for business! We’re certain that area is destined to be some seriously-prime, see-and-be-seen, sunshiny-seating-real-estate this summer – with sweeping views towards Kennebunkport’s Dock Square!
