On the evening of Saturday, August 17th, 2019, a wafting and dreamy fog rolled into Narrow Cove and through Perkins Cove around the same time that fervent supporters of the arts gathered at the Ogunquit Museum of American Art (OMAA) for one of the most hotly anticipated events on Maine’s annual cultural calendar: The Art By The Sea Gala & Auction.
Art By The Sea is the Ogunquit Museum of American Art’s premier fundraising event and a highlight of the Ogunquit’s summer social season.
Ticket-holders to this always-sold-out event enjoyed gourmet noshes and signature cocktails while mingling in OMAA’s beautiful seaside location.
But the real highlight of the night is the live auction, with its action and high-energy bidding on a selection of noteworthy artworks and extraordinary experiences – all in support of OMAA’s very worthy mission.
